While Eminem (a.k.a.Marshall
Mathers ) continues to sell hundreds of thousands of his sophomore
release, the rapper is finding more and more ways to get into trouble.
In addition to assault and concealed weapons charges brought against
him stemming from a May 4 nightclub scuffle, the Oakland County
prosecutors office in Royal Oak, Mich., will ask the real Slim Shady
to please stand up and face an additional charge of carrying a
concealed weapon.
According to the
Oakland County prosecutor's office, Eminem was leaving an audio
electronics store on Saturday, June 3, when he engaged in an argument
with Douglas Dail, an associate of the Detroit
rap group Insane Clown Posse (on his latest album Eminem pokes fun
at the group in a graphic fellatio skit). During the dispute,
witnesses claimed that a handgun slipped from the waistband of
Eminem's pants and fell to the ground.
Eminem now faces two
new charges: carrying a concealed weapon (a five-year felony, which he
is already facing for Sunday's incident) and a misdemeanor count of
brandishing a firearm.
Calls to Eminem's
attorney remained unanswered.
